closely related to human.. Gibbons kt zoo melaka sangat comel ok.. paling berani kot datang mintak makanan.. tapi sayang tempat dia paling atas.. kalo dah penat, memang tak jumpa la Gibbon ni..

2. Swan
monogamous.. see.. takde bermadu2 ok.. in some cases, last for life.. sebab tu la swan selalu digambarkan as symbol cinta yang abadi..

3. Black vultures
nama nak ganas.. tengok tu.. muka pon ganas.. tapi diorg sangat faithful.. and kalo ada berlaku philandering, dalam bahasa melayu nyer, berscandal sana sini, abeh la kena attack ngan vulture yang lain.. sebab tu la aku suka.. ahaha..

4. French Angelfish
monogamous gak.. akan defend tempat tinggal and pegi hunting for food sama2.. and usually relationship last until salah satu mati.. aww.. sweet ok..

5. Wolves
more loyal n pious than most human.. packs consists of parents and offspring.. more to nuclear family.. hoho.. cayalah..

6. Albatrosses
Urm.. also made for life.. usually will separate but then still come back home.. n with the same mate..

7. Termites Certain species of termites memang ada life long queen and king.. and they will make up for the entire kingdom.. hua.. lots of children.. tak fening ka.. ngahaha

8. Prairie voles
monogamous.. i think its is a rodent species.. haha.. the good thing is, they huddle and groom each other, share nesting and pup-raising responsibilities, and generally show a high level of supportive behavior.

9. Turtle doveThis type of bird seyesly sweet ok.. ayah aku pon ada bela kat umah.. they inspired shakespear for the poem entitled "the phoenix and the turtle".. i guess the turtle is the dove.. not ninja turtle.. ahaha.. :P

10. Schistosoma mansoni wormsok.. geli.. taknak cakap apa2 pasal cacing ni.. monogamous.. ewww..

11. Bald EaglesOk.. tengok muka legend gila kan.. tapi ati cute woo.. relationship selalu kekal accept for kematian or impotent.. keh3.. len sume ok..

Chernobyl [A Day to Remember]

This semester i'm taking Dr.Ismail class, Environmental Industrial Management. I was really interested when he told us about the disaster happen all around the world because of industry. The Chernobyl, Minamata Bay, Mammoth, Bhopal.. And today i do a reading on Chernobyl.. And 24 years ago, it is today that the plant meltdown at reactor 4.

I watch Astro at that time telling about those disasters, what make me more interested in Chernobyl is that, after the meltdown, the radiation at the location is really high.. Extremely high. But people at the nearest town which is Pripyat still doesnt know the consequences if they were exposed to the radiation. Hence, they do their normal life. In the Astro, they show the people in the neighbourhood were enjoying their day. The kids were playing around at the yard, the moms buy the groceries n so on. Then, there comes a few people checking the radiation near the ground at the neighbourhood. They are wearing the special clothing to protect them from radiation. When the local people ask them why they are wearing such clothing, they juz say that it was a juz a procedure.. a routine..

when they learn that the radiation has spread, the authority evacuate Pripyat. To evacuate the city of Pripyat, the following warning message was reported on local radio: "An accident has occurred at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. One of the atomic reactors has been damaged. Aid will be given to those affected and a committee of government inquiry has been set up." This message gave the false impression that any damage or radiation was localized. They didnt know in 3 months time most of them will die because of cancer and most of them cant make it until 40 years old. And they were told that they will only evacuated for 3 days, but they didnt know that it was the last time they call the place, home. All their belongings was left behind until today. They call Pripyat, The Exclusion Zone. The Soviet Union try to cover up about the incident.

Then, Sweeden (nearby country) detected high radiation in their region on 28th of April. Then only they admit that major nuclear accident had occurred in Chernobyl.

The catastrophe was said by some people 300-400 times the bomb drop at hiroshima during World War II.

From wiki, they said that the Exclusion Zone could be utilized for some sort of industrial purpose that would involve concrete sites. But estimates range from 60 – 200 years before this would be allowed. Farming or any other type of agricultural industry would be dangerous and completely inappropriate for at least 200 years. It will be at least two centuries before there is any chance the situation can change within the 1.5-mile Exclusion Zone. As for the 4 reactor where the meltdown occurred, we estimate it will be 20,000 years before the real estate will be fully safe.

20,000 years!!!! gle kn.. Say no to nuclear power.. Thank God Malaysia and nearby country x ada nuclear power gak. I include video from utube that i found..

The firefighters that try to put out the fire also know the risk.. they know the regulation but stil they do their job..

The liquidator who clean the debris.. they were exposed to thousands times of normal radiation and they can only do their job a maximum 40 seconds at the rooftop of the plant..

They shut down reactor 4 by building sacrophagus around the reactor 4. It said it was meant to last forever but it deteriorate in the 1st five years. Hmm.. this is an article i found telling about the stupid engineers who cause the incident.
