JENESYS: Briefing for parents

really dont know how to start this..

urm..

my lil sis.. yang paling bongsu dapat offer for JENESYS by AFS.. JENESYS stands for Japanese-East Asia Network for Students and Youths..

i'm really proud of her coz she manage to go to the second interview.. out of 1000 over candidates around Malaysia during the 1st interview, she manage to be the top 10% which is about 100++ shortlisted candidates to go to 2nd interview.. then only 56 people will be selected to go to Japan for 2 weeks..

lets just pray for her.. if she's one of the 56 people, Alhamdulillah.. if she's not selected, lets juz say, takda rejeki.. lagipon to be shortlisted for 2nd interview pon dah sangat2 hebat.. like the afs spokesman said, "we dont even look at the other 900++.. we choose your child"

she will be having camps at Maluri hotel for 2 days.. today and tomorrow.. hope she will do fine.. and like her friend's mom said, dont push too hard, just be yourself.. oh.. i just like her! (the mommy of coz.. single parents.. a really strong woman)

and the registration for this camp starts at 9am.. my mom really want me to attend the parents briefing after the registration.. so, me and aliya are the weirdest parents over there.. we are youngest parents! haha..

when the afs staff said to me at the front door of the hall,

"parents can have a seat"

and look at me straight in my eyes with a bright smiley face..

oh god.. do i look old? hahaha.. i said to meself.. but its ok.. who cares.. i feel proud.. and hopefully one day, i can be there as a real parents, not just as guardian.. amin!

and lucky i'm well dressed today! If i wear my usual attire, t-shirt and jeans, i would be stuck in an awkward space.. hahaha..

the briefing is basically just want to remind parents not to put hope so much.. and then they give a lil bit tips for those who being selected on how to prepare your child.. etc..

the parents are nice.. seriously.. sangat ramah ok.. aku rasa kalau ayah yang gi ni, mesti dia suka sebab mereka sepesen dengan dia.. haha..
